A streetwear fashion show will also take place during the indoors portion of the event. This will serve to put to the forefront urban fashion through different brands, as well as the streetwear clothing style which was born during the 70s in New York. Moreover, this style is as relevant as ever amongst the youth of Brussels, a city that is the cradle from which different Belgian streetwear brands saw the light of day. A curated selection of the said brands will be featured in our fashion show.
Castings will have been organised in various youth centres to select the models.
Unusual and quite surprising, these ephemeral boutiques have been generating quite the buzz around them. Still in the spirit of urban cultures, about fifteen stands of streetwear brands, urban sport items, and even a barber, will set up shop for the day. This will also be a perfect occasion to bring fresh Belgian street trends, as well as young creators to the forefront. The revenue that will be collected from renting out the spaces in which these stands will operate during the day, will all be given to the NPO Operation Thermos.
